Traces of Existence | Artist Reception

Join us at The Griffin for the artist repcetion of our new exhibition, Traces of Existence, featuring Alejandro Cartegena, Muriel Hasbun, Ilena Doble Hernandez, Rodrigo Valenzuela, and Alejandro Morales. The artists speak to ideas of migration, history, reminiscence, family, and existence through their experimental photography, such as collage, visual juxtapositions, and physical manipulations. These multi-layered photographs reflect artist's exploration of identity, their relationship with their homeland, social and political issues of South America and the U.S.
