SUMMARY:Cultural Council Grant Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Learn how to get a grant from the Winchester Cultural Council at this
  drop-in workshop. Cultural Council members will be there to describe
  the grant program and answer questions. This is also a good
  opportunity to meet them and learn more about what the WCC does! Come
  any time between 5:30 and 7:00 pm.Every year\, the Winchester Cultural
  Council gives grants for cultural activities. Last year the WCC gave
  over $16\,000 to 16 individuals and organizations\, with amounts
  ranging from $250 to $2\,500. The application deadline is Wednesday\,
  October 16.Grants can be given to individuals\, nonprofit and
  for-profit organizations\, groups of individuals\, government
  organizations\, and religious institutions\, provided that the project
  has a broad public benefit and meets some other requirements.Culture
  enriches our town! The Cultural Council encourages ambitious proposals
  to improve the cultural life of Winchester and to bring people
  together both in the downtown area and throughout the town.More
