Scouts BSA: Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts

Scouting in Winchester prepares young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes with the goal of becoming responsible, participating citizens and leaders.

Scouting is available to first through fifth graders through Cub Scouts, and 6th graders and above (but no older than 17 yrs old) through Scouts BSA (formerly known as Boy Scouts).

Winchester Scouts support Winchester civic activities by marching in the Veteran’s Day, En Ka and Memorial Day parades. Scouts perform many service projects every year including flag placements for veterans over Memorial Day, litter clean-up following En Ka and Town Day just to name a few.

Mission

Our mission is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
