Troop 503 was founded in 1917, only seven years after the scouting movement was brought to the United States from England. Our troop is one of the oldest in the country. It has conferred the rank of Eagle Scout on more than 130 boys over the last century. Our troop is a community of youth that is focused on leadership, learning, and having lots of fun! We are a very active and adventurous troop and we meet every Tuesday at 7:30 pm when Winchester Public Schools are in session.

Scouting in Winchester prepares young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes with the goal of becoming responsible, participating citizens and leaders.

​Scouting is available to first through fifth graders through Cub Scouts, and 6th graders and above (but no older than 17 yrs old) through Scouts BSA (formerly known as Boy Scouts).

A parochial school associated with St. Mary's Parish, St. Mary’s Early Learning Center is dedicated to providing opportunities for the child to develop his/her potential: spiritually, intellectually, socially, and emotionally, in a secure, caring and stimulating environment.

Sustainable Winchester is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a sustainable future for our community. We aim to inspire Winchester residents to actively participate in sustainability. Our focus areas include renewable energy, waste management, construction and building use, transportation, land use, water and air resources, biodiversity and sustainable landscaping.​

We are a grassroots, non-profit 501(c)(3) group formed in 2014 to build a Winchester community aquatic center as a public-private partnership on Town land, with a privately-funded capital campaign and self-sustaining operations.

Shir Tikvah is a Reform Jewish congregation with about 350 family and single households. We offer religious services, religious school education, and social and social action opportunities for children, adults and families. Our focus is on providing a Jewish spiritual home, creating meaningful and joyous Jewish experiences for our members.

A non-profit, non-sectarian program, owned and operated by Crawford Memorial United Methodist Church. Our curriculum mixes structure with plenty of flexibility for young active minds, taught by a highly qualified team of teachers in a happy nurturing environment.  The Nursery School program (ages 3–5 years) is licensed by the Dept. of Early Education and Care of Massachusetts and is in compliance with all Health and Safety Regulations of the Town of Winchester. It is also accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States is a nonprofit veterans service organization comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard and reserve forces.

Winchester Alumni Association was launched in 2018 to support WHS alumni, staff and families in the many transitions
of their lives after graduation. Alumni who register through our database  may receive information on upcoming Winchester events and volunteer opportunities, search for classmates, share news, and support current students and young alumni through networking and mentoring activities.
