Art in the Park is a public outdoor art activity free and open to the public, with demonstrations, participatory art, and exhibition and sale of works by local artists. The event is held on the Winchester Common on Saturday, August 16, from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, in conjunction with the weekly Farmers' Market. It is a highlight of the month-long Art in August festival.

Art in the Park is a family-friendly public art activity including hands-on opportunities, demonstrations, and exhibitions of art that takes place during the Winchester Farmers' Market. A number of local artists will run activities to show their creative process and in some cases to let people try making their own. Artists all also be able to sell their artwork. There will be something for everyone!
The Winchester Library hosts a reception celebrating a month-long exhibition by "Nature's Artistry Interpreted" artist Trish Gannon. The exhibition, or original pastel art and acrylic mono-prints, will be on view from Sept. 3 to Sept. 30, 2024.
