SUMMARY:Painting With Paper: Collage Workshop with John Williams
DESCRIPTION:Join local artist John Williams for an inspiring\, hands-on collage
  workshop exploring his unique technique of painting with paper. Using
  small pieces of magazine paper\, John creates richly layered
  portraits\, landscapes\, and seascapes that capture remarkable light\,
  texture\, and depth. 
 
 In this workshop\, John will share his self-taught process and the
  creative ideas behind his work. You'll learn how he carefully selects
  and arranges paper to build luminous lighting effects--especially in
  his seascapes--and how his background in sculpture influences the
  sense of form and perspective in his collages. John will also discuss
  how his artistic perspective is shaped by his experience with autism\,
  offering insight into the stories and details that bring his subjects
  to life. 
 
 Artists of all experience levels are welcome! During the session\,
  you'll create your own small collage while John provides guidance\,
  feedback\, and encouragement along the way.
