Photo London 2026

The Griffin is off to London for a week in May for the Photo London photography fair, along with some special trips planned to collections and foundations and exploring the UK photography community.

Created for the Griffin community, this week in London offers a curated immersion into contemporary photography, centered around Photo London 2026. Designed for collectors, patrons, and artists who value looking and thoughtful exchange, the program extends beyond the fair into galleries, foundations, and studios shaping photography in the UK today. Join Executive Director Crista Dix on this excursion to explore the UK's photo community.

Through private visits, guided tours, and artist talks, we'll engage photography as both object and idea--considering process, context, and the relationships that sustain artistic practice. The pace of the trip will be busy, yet allowing time for conversation and connection among fellow Griffin supporters.

This is an invitation to experience photography within an international context, create new relationships with artists and peers, and travel together for a week filled with curiosity and creativity.

Each day will have planned events and a list of optional opportunities to see London and other cultural events. We plan a trip to Bristol for one day, to visit a foundation and have a studio visit. We are finalizing details for another day trip to visit Sussex. More details to be finalized soon. If you would like more information about the trip, contact the museum by phone at 781.729.1158 or email us.

The cost of the trip includes VIP Pass to Photo London, 2 lunches, 2 dinners, and train fare for an excursion to Bristol, along with private tours and artist conversations led by Executive Director Crista Dix.

The cost of the trip does not include airfare, lodging or transportation outside of GMP scheduled events.
