We are a bustling community farm offering a wide range of certified organic crops, education programs for children and adults, and special events for the community. We strive to be a diverse, dynamic organization that continues to care for our farm responsibly while providing opportunities for learning and engagement, enjoyment of open space, and respite for all who visit. Wright-Locke Farm Conservancy enriches our community by thoughtfully stewarding this historic New England farm. Through learning, celebrating, and sustainably producing food, we foster connections to the land, history, and each other.
We have education programs for adults and children, including a certified preschool and kindergarten. We also have a beautiful rental space available, where we host community events, concerts, farm talks, and workshops. Our agricultural team farms the land and brings our fresh produce to the Winchester Farmers Market, and our farm store (Farm To Go) acts as a local food hub for products from farm partners across New England.
We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities. From working in the fields, helping with chicken chores, working at events, or working in farm retail. Our volunteers find community and purpose through their involvement at the farm. We have several volunteer orientations throughout the year and many ways to become part of the farm family.
