Kids Art with Studio on the Common

Join us for an art class with Studio on the Common! This month's project will be: Turtle Time! Clay Creatures Workshop - using hand building techniques, participants will sculpt a turtle out of clay. We'll be in the Storytime Room (or the Library Lawn if it's a nice day) getting crafty with all kinds of fun art supplies! For kids in grades 2-5, registration is required.

Learn to Sew: Pillows

We will be learning how to hand sew a pillow in this program. Skills learned will include threading a needle, stitching, and closing a stuffed item. Finished product will have your first initial on the front! When registering, please indicate color preference for initials and pillow.

LEGO Block Tower Game

Join us for a LEGO board game! Roll the dice to move around the board and see who builds the tallest Lego tower! For kids rising into Kindergarten - 2nd Grade. Registration is required. Questions? Linocut Printmaking

Learn the basics of linocut printmaking. The class will cover techniques in carving linoleum, composition, ink mixing, and printing. At their own pace, students will learn how to create a design and carve it in linoleum using carving tools. Students will learn how to ink and print their linoleum blocks by hand.
