The Winchester Cultural Council and the Winchester Artists Network invite you to a gala reception to celebrate the opening of Art in August 2025.

Come meet the artists who are exhibiting throughout August in locations throughout the town, the merchants who generously donate space in their shops and windows, state and town leaders, Winchester Cultural Council members and local grant recipients, and others from our community.

Wine and light appetizers served. All are invited, free admission.
 

 

Art in August Opening Reception

The Winchester Cultural Council is joining with the Winchester Artists’ Network to exhibit local artists’ works in local shops and businesses throughout the month of August. We are kicking off Art in August with a gala reception to celebrate the arts in Winchester. Come meet the artists who are exhibiting in locations throughout the town, the merchants who generously donate space in their shops and windows, state and town leaders, Winchester Cultural Council members and local grant recipients, as well as other town residents and business owners.

Collector's Eye | A Conversation and Book Signing with Frazier King

The Griffin Museum is pleased to present an afternoon of conversation with artist and collector Frazier King and Griffin Museum's Executive Director Crista Dix. The pair will talk about collaborating with artists, supporting careers through collecting, finding your vision and living with works you love. Frazier worked with Schilt Publishing to create a book featuring many of the works in his collection.
