Join historical musical sensation Diane Taraz to celebrate the spirit of life and memories of friends. She will be performing her Fond Farewell musical program for Memorial Day, consisting of classical and original songs on guitar and dulcimer. The program will include Over the Rainbow, Wayfaring Stranger, Amazing Grace, Will the Circle be Unbroken and many more. Adult learners at WCMS are invited to join us for an evening of discussion, music, and community. This gathering will combine a relaxed, informal performance opportunity with a continued group discussion of the themes offered by William Westney's book, The Perfect Wrong Note.

The Griffin Museum is pleased to offer a mentoring and critique program (ONLINE) for conscientious and self-motivated photographers seeking to broaden how they create and think about photography. Participants will get to know one another through critiques and brainstorming sessions. These ideas and suggestions will help hone strengths and elicit a deeply intentional artistic voice. In addition to supporting photographic projects, participants will work on all the elements that surround their images: the articulation, presentation, and installation. The Griffin Museum is thrilled to host a trip to New York City to attend AIPAD again this year! We have planned some special events to make this a two day excursion into one of the biggest weekends in photography. We spend Thursday at AIPAD with VIP Tickets for early morning entry meeting some of the dealers and artists showing at the fair. We will head off to lunch and spend the afternoon with a selection of activities, or spend more time at the fair. Friday will be a series of special events throughout the day. We are still in the planning stages, and a full itinerary will be available soon
